Delco entered briefly into the automobile clock
business during this period, but due to the lack of restoration parts and relatively poor design of the original clockworks, we can no longer offer service on the original Delco clock movement. However, we can offer some alternatives to get your clock running. |

For those who want a vintage style ticking mechanical clock in their early model
Corvette, we offer a mechanical update utilizing a slightly more modern (and much better quality than original) electrical clock movement. Unlike the original Delco movement which utilized a magnetic pulse to power the clock, a spring driven electric movement will assure much improved dependability, and still keep the clock "ticking". This update will not affect the appearance of the original clock in any way. Even the power terminal will remain stock and the set stem functional. You will no longer have to set the hands to start the clock movement as with the Delco mechanism, and the clock will not be prone to stalling due to changes in voltage or vibration. This update has passed NCRS judging with no point deduction!

For those who desire quartz accuracy and are not concerned about keeping the clock
mechanical, we offer quartz conversions on these clocks. Please keep in mind that a quartz movement may result in a point deduction if your car is being judged.

We can restore your '56-'57 Corvette "Westclox" clock

For the C2 Corvette we offer everything from
simple mechanical reconditioning suitable for "survivor" cars, all the way up to full cosmetic restoration for the high-point concours correct car. We also offer quartz conversion, but remember that your car may suffer a hefty authenticity point deduction for having an incorrect movement if you should have it concours judged. Quartz is detectable by the movement of the seconds hand. Contrary to what some have claimed, there is no quartz movement that properly mimics the motion of the original Borg movement! |

We can restore or quartz convert your C3
clock at your option. But please keep in mind that Quartz is detectable by the movement of the seconds hand and there is NO quartz movement that properly mimics the stepped motion of the original ticking clock. This can be important when having your car judged. |

We can restore your 58-62 Corvette clock
movement to original specs (provided the movement is intact and serviceable), or update it to a modern quartz movement.
The Corvette clock is identical to the clock
used in 1955-56 full-size cars, although the New Haven version is not commonly found in the Corvette. |
